Cottiers church building is situated in the heart of Glasgow’s west end. With atmospheric stained glass windows, ornate stonework and plenty of outdoor space. It really is a unique and charming venue, guaranteed to wow your guests and make for an unforgettable day.
We have a dedicated team to ensure the planning process, and your day itself is a seamless, enjoyable and truly magical experience. Our coordinator will ensure no detail is left to chance and that your vision of the venue becomes a reality.
We work with you to create your dream wedding. We have a selection of menu and drinks package to choose from or we can create a bespoke wedding feast just for you.
Cottiers Theatre, originally Dowanhill Parish Church, was built in 1865 by William Leiper with designs by Daniel Cottier who created the bold decoration and beautifully appointed stained glass windows.
Our unique venue has seen over £5M invested in restoration work over 30 years and Four Acres Charitable Trust is grateful to its many supporters including the Architectural Heritage Fund and the National Lottery Heritage Fund for making this possible.
We build on success. When the trust generates funds through your event it will dedicate a portion of these to furthering the restoration work.
