Viola and her brother Sebastian, shipwrecked on Illyria think that the other is drowned. In an attempt to make a living Viola disguises herself as a man and works for the Duke Orsino. Orsino is madly in love with the Countess Olivia, grieving her own brother she will have none of him, or any other men, until she meets newly disguised Cesario…
