The Prophecy

The Prophecy

The Prophecy

Performance Date: 8 Feb 2014 - 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Scotland’s Award Winning Performance Irish Dancers

‘A stranger stolen from a mortal land

Must bring together the warring clans

Be warned that time will disappear

And leave that stranger ever here..’

The Prophecy is gently inspired by W. B Yeats’ poem ‘The Changeling’ which tells of faeries stealing children away to live with them in Tir Na’ Og, the Faery Kingdom.

Described as a ‘mesmerising faerytale’ and receiving a four star review by Broadway Baby it truly is a gripping and beautiful tale for all the family to enjoy.

Set in the 1920s and delving into the mythical land of the Isle of Shadows, the ‘stolen child’, Aoife, is taken by the Queen of the Faeries, Erin, to complete a prophecy in the Faery kingdom.

Once in this magical land Aoife must fulfill the prophecy by encouraging the Faeries to unite with the dangerous Shadow people led by Queen Vala, before time runs out.

‘a highly magical and enjoyable show’ Three Weeks Weekly
